Their dream came true…

Hi guys,? Thank you so much again for all of your support, I hope you have all received my email about how far the donations have gone and how the money has been distributed.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who have supported our girls and made their life a thousand times better. You all really have changed peoples lives. Thank you so much on their behalf… You have made their dream came true, on the Saturday 29th August 2009, with great thanks to all of you that contributed. There are currently 30 girls aged from 3 to 14 living there and attending the local school; Shire Urban primary School.

Their full time carer is present 24 hours a day and is a brilliant full time mother to every single girl there. Each child now has a safe home, food, education and sanitation. The children were all tested For HIV/AIDs on their arrival to Tilinanu. Of the 30, only 2 tested positive.
These two princesses and their remaining family are now undergoing treatment and medication to give them the best help possible. The angels are attending Shire Urban Primary School where children are educated up to Standard 8. Although they are taught in English, the children do learn Chichewa (their local and traditional language), as well as English, Science, History, Agriculture, Maths, Life skills and P.E.

The government school demands a small amount of money for them to enter their education system, however what we would class as a ‘small’ amount is a large amount to many of the families and children over there. A number of the children in Tilinanu are 12 to 14 years old and to date have never been educated. Now the girls at Tilinanu are in full-time education, are clothed, fed and live in a safe place to play.
